Combining recent insights from the science of happiness with ancient wisdom, this talk will lay out the fundamentals of enduring happiness: what it is, what it isn’t…and how each of us can take simple steps to cultivate this most important life skill. Pelin Kesebir has received her degree in Social Psychology and Personality from the University of Urbana-Champaign, and currently works as a scientist at the Center for Healthy Minds at UW-Madison. She studies happiness and virtues, and the different ways in which we can cultivate our well-being skills.
