In 1965 the Monroe, Wisconsin Cheesemakers basketball team, under the guidance of Coach Lee Mitchell, completed an undefeated, 26-0 season, winning the WIAA State High School Championship. Tom Mitchell's book celebrates the 50th year anniversary of that achievement - recalling the title run in photos, mementos, newspaper articles, and comments by teammates, fans, and coaches. The book also includes a detailed history of basketball in the Monroe area, and the many colorful players and coaches who came before.
