Houseplants are a great way to improve the environment of your \nhome and to enjoy the pleasures of gardening year-round. Eugenia will \nprovide ideas for which types of plants grow best indoors to ensure that\n your houseplants thrive.Eugenia is a graduate of the Dane County UW-Extension Master Gardener Volunteer program which trains community volunteers in a broad range of horticultural subjects so they can bring this knowledge to the public. Eugenia is not native to WI\, but has adjusted to gardening from the \neast coast\, the southern states\, and in Ohio before moving to WI.  \;It \nhas been a learning curve as the weather is colder and more \nunpredictable \, even more so now that we are in the "climate\nchange" in the weather patterns.\nEugenia has been a  \;Master Gardener in WI for 8 years and in Ohio for 5 years before that.\nAs part of the volunteer commitment she works at markets\, on the phone line\, and as a speaker with the Speakers Program. She also works with children in a community garden/year round \nclassroom program for children at risk on the South side of Madison.\n\n\n
